THE RACING DIVISION – innovation and research for maximum success
Power Marine Off-Shore Racing Team in 1986 started an adventure in Worldwide competitions participating in, with monohull “v” 50 foot boat, at the Class-1 Italian, European and Worldwide levels, specifically in the latter, in New Zealand, with a placing on the podium, third place which was only a prelude to the numerous following successes.

“POWER 50” not only the boat was constructed, but every component, rudders, flaps, invertors, gearbox and transmissions were planned by the Power Marine team. All the components are researched and function in complete harmony together, guaranteeing performance and reliability that otherwise could not have been achieved.
The development of components production, monohulls and the successes resulting from these continue until ’92, when the Team decided, following the current trends, to change to two hulls.
During this period, the Power Marine engineers also designed a trimaran, called “the Kite”. Which demonstrated in only 6 months development and improvements far beyond a monohull or catamaran could posses. Unfortunately due to a change in regulations the trimaran project had to be abandoned.
There was immediately a rapport between the catamaran and Corbelli, who did not think of it as a boat but as a great wing that in the water must only leave that

ten centimetres of propeller and rudder to guarantee speed and direction.
The hydrodynamic studies of the hulls and above all, the aerodynamic studies of the tunnel, permitting the achievement of extraordinary performance and breaking numerous records.
Just like that race victory, at average speeds of 201 Km/h that up to date has never been beaten.
Power Marine Off-shore Racing Team in 1996, after 200 grand premiums, 15 boats constructed and numerous successes, decided not to participate any more directly in Class-1. Since those years has limited itself to only providing boats, components and assistance to third parties.
Despite this, the successes continue bearing witness to the great efficiency of Power Marine and the boats constructed.
